摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To predict an engine rotation speed after gear change with high accuracy.SOLUTION: In a vehicle control device according to an embodiment of the invention, an ECU 104 calculates a turbine rotation speed after gear change as an engine rotation speed after gear change when a state of an L/U clutch is a lock-up state. Further the ECU 104 calculates a square root of a value obtained by dividing the present engine output torque by a capacity coefficient of a torque converter determined on the basis of the turbine rotation speed after gear change and the present engine output torque when the state of the L/U clutch is a non-lockup state. Furthermore, the ECU 104 calculates a target differential rotation speed of the L/U clutch on the basis of the present engine output torque, and calculates a value obtained by adding the turbine rotation speed after gear change to the calculated target differential rotation speed, as the engine rotation speed after gear change when the state of the L/U clutch is a flex lock-up state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
