Disclosed is a mobile terminal control method, the method comprising: obtaining an on-line notification of a host; the mobile terminal sends a self-description to the host according to the on-line notification; according to the self-description, identifying an operation supported by the mobile terminal, and sending via the host an operation request corresponding to the operation; controlling the mobile terminal to perform the corresponding operation according to the operation request.
