A broadcast signal transmission method according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise the steps of: generating one or more input packets according to a first protocol; generating one or more link layer packets including the one or more input packets according to a second protocol, wherein each of the one or more link layer packets includes a header and a payload, and wherein the header includes packet type information which identifies types of the input packets, and payload configuration information which identifies whether the payload includes one input packet, or more than one input packets, or a part of one input packet; and generating a broadcast signal including the one or more link layer packets.
