Provided is a method of manufacturing a liquid-cooled jacket which has high thermal conductivity and deformation resistance, and the size of which can be reduced. The present invention is characterized by including: a placing step for placing a sealing body (3) on a jacket body (2); a first primary joining step for performing frictional stirring by moving a primary joining rotary tool (F) along a first abutment portion (J1) where a step side surface of a peripheral wall step portion and an outer peripheral side surface of the sealing body (3) abut on each other; and a second primary joining step for performing frictional stirring by moving the primary joining rotary tool (F) along second abutment portions (J2) in each of which a step side surface (17b) of a support step portion and a hole wall (19a) of a hole abut each other. |
