Electronic device comprising a first number of sensors configured to define a first input area upon a first substrate, arranged to detect essentially continuous user input provided via said first input area, a second number of sensors configured to define a second input area upon said first or a second substrate, spatially and/or technology-wise separate from the first input area, arranged to detect user input provided via said second input area, wherein a controller entity is arranged, at least in a predefined functional state, and based on monitoring user input via said first and second input areas, to disable user input via the second input area unless substantially continuous, ongoing user input is detected via said first input area, in which case simultaneous input via the second input area is translated into at least one functional command.
