Disclosed are a cloud terminal upgrade method and system, a network management server and a proxy server. The method comprises: with regard to a cloud terminal across network segments, a network management server being able to firstly group various cloud terminals by taking a network segment as a unit, wherein one group contains cloud terminals in one network segment; then respectively selecting, by the network management server, a cloud terminal from each group of the cloud terminals as a proxy server of each group, and then firstly sending a file to be upgraded to each proxy server by means of unicast, wherein since the file is sent by means of unicast, original routing configuration information does not need to be changed; and further sending, by each proxy server, the received file to be upgraded to the other cloud terminals to be upgraded in the group to complete upgrading. It can be seen that in the present invention, original routing configuration information does not need to be changed when a cloud terminal across network segments is upgraded, so that the security in an upgrading process can be improved, thereby improving the degree of satisfaction of user experience. |
