A method and a system for sharing an application, and an application service platform are provided in embodiments of the present invention. The method comprises: an application service platform, on the basis of an application sharing request sent by an originating client, generates a share link containing an application associated with the ID of the originating client, and sends said link back to the originating client; the originating client shares the share link with a target client; upon receiving a share-link connection request sent by the target client, the application service platform generates an installation package carrying the application associated with the ID of the originating client, and sends said installation package back to the target client; the target client installs the application in accordance with the installation package; upon receiving an application login request sent by the target client, the application service platform establishes a friends relationship between the originating client user and the target client user on the basis of the ID of the originating client contained in said request. The present invention, by means of application sharing, is able to facilitate establishment of a friends relationship, thereby enhancing application interaction and improving user experience. |
