PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb various impact force with one kind of cushioning body that eliminates the need of preparing various kinds of cushioning bodies with different sizes against various kinds of impact force acting on the cushioning body from a moving object.SOLUTION: In a shock absorbing device, a clearance 25 for permitting elastic deformation of a cushioning body 24 is provided between a storage part 23 and the cushioning body 24. A dimension of the clearance 25 is set so that an outer surface of the cushioning body 24 can come into contact with an inner surface of the storage part 23 while the cushioning body 24 absorbs an impact from a table 12 by the elastic deformation thereof when a block body 14 of the table 12 collides with a projection 24b. |
