The present invention relates to a manufacturing apparatus of an electrode assembly, which enhances electrolyte impregnation; and to an electrode assembly manufactured by using the same. In a continuous process to manufacture a stack-folding type electrode assembly which comprises unit cells sequentially stacked in a state of placing a separating film between the unit cells, the manufacturing apparatus is used for a process of arranging the unit cells and transferring the same to a folding apparatus. The manufacturing apparatus of an electrode assembly comprises: a separating film supply part supplying a separating film; a unit cell arrangement part arranging unit cells on the separating film at fixed intervals; and a unit cell transfer part transferring the separating film provided with the unit cells to the folding apparatus. The unit cell transfer part comprises: a position inspection part measuring an interval between the unit cells by recognizing the positions of the unit cells, and obtaining a signal by determining a place to form a penetrating hole according to information on the interval, followed by transmitting the signal to a stitch cutting part; and the stitch cutting part forming at least one penetrating hole on the separating film placed between the unit cell according to the signal received from the position inspection part. |
