The manufacturing of an inkjet flatbed table which comprises a large support layer with an area of at least 1.5 m 2 to support an ink receiver (300, 305) in an inkjet printing system, comprising the following steps fixing a plate (600) on top of a base unit (400) by forming a part of or whole the support layer; and abrading the fixed plate (600) to have a flatness on the top of the support layer less than 300 µm and wherein the plate (600) is characterized by comprising a thermoplastic polymer resin. |
