A display device is disclosed. The display device comprises: a display unit; a storage unit configured to store afterimage modeling information; and a control unit configured to control the display unit to refresh pixels which need afterimage removal in each image frame based on the afterimage modeling information while sequentially displaying a plurality of image frames. Therefore, screen flickering is reduced to lower viewing fatigue when a screen is converted, a feeling speed of a user is improved and power consumption amount is reduced. |
