PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansive/contractive and flexible joint which can connect each of various type nominal diameters of water supply pipes by certainly housing an annular spacer mounted with an O-ring in an expanded diameter section of a branching section arranged in a snap tap with a saddle, and hold an expansion diameter space necessary for lock ring when a connecting pipe is inserted, and to provide a snap tap with a saddle using the joint.SOLUTION: A snap tap 23 with a saddle using an expansive/contractive and flexible joint, has: a peripherally cylindrical surface 44 and a peripheral taper surface 45 between an expanded diameter section inner circumference arranged in the branching section of the snap tap 23 with a saddle and annular packing 35; an annular spacer 37 having a proper thickness interposed therein; and an inner circumferential taper surface 33 of the expanded diameter section 30 and a peripheral taper surface 45 of the annular spacer 37 sealed by mounting an O-ring 36 serving as a seal member in a mounting groove 46 formed in the peripheral taper surface 45. |
