Methods and apparatuses for converting browsed content in a device are provided. The method includes receiving a request signal for information related to the browsed content from an external device; detecting at least one of a document object and a view from the browsed content based on information about the external device contained in the request signal; converting the browsed content into data that can be browsed on the external device according to the at least one of the document object and the view based on the information about the external device; and transmitting the converted data to the external device, wherein the browsed content is currently browsed at the device. |
