PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that conventionally there is a heat-retention cover for a heat-receiving container, this cover is used for retention of remaining heat after heating by covering a whole container, and also there is a heat-retention cover covering a whole container as a heat-retention cover during heating, however it is very dangerous because of boiling-over and an increase in temperature, so a heat-retention cover not covering a whole container is desired.SOLUTION: Although heat dissipation from a heat-receiving container is small during heating, heat dissipation from a cap is large. A heat-retention cover during cooking of this invention is placed only on a cap. The cover has a shape which does not protrude from a peripheral edge of the cap but covers the whole cap, the cover may have a flat surface or a dent so that the cover can adapt to even a stereoscopic cap. An opening is provided at the center of the cover so as to make a knob of the cap come out so that the cap can be quickly taken out in a case of boiling-over. The opening is provided with a cylindrical rising part so as to prevent heat between the cap and the cover from going to the opening. A non-inflammable material of an elastic body, such as silicone, is used to prevent burn injury and fire spreading due to heating and to suit the cap well. |
