A fishing weight comprises a weight body 10, a guide means 14 to support the weight body at a point along a length of fishing line and a clamp means 20 connected to the weight body to releasably fix the weight body at a predetermined position on the line. The clamp means has a first position to secure the weight in position and a second position which, when the weight reaches the top of the rod, allows the line to travel through the guide means. |
