Disclosed is an inverter control apparatus which stably restarts a motor by reducing current generated by a slip frequency when restarting the motor. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the control apparatus determines a phase of command voltage in a restarting area by considering a frequency of input power of the motor at a point at which the input power is reduced to be lower than or equal to a rating level, a frequency of the input power of the motor at a restarting point, a time for torque generation, and a phase of input voltage of the motor at the restarting point. |
