The present invention relates to a rolling-contact bearing (10). The rolling-contact bearing (10) comprises: an inner ring (12); an outer ring (14) having an outer surface (28) of a section form of a sphere; a rolling body between the inner ring (12) and the outer ring (14); an encoder washer (32) to be rotated with the inner ring (12); a sensor member (50) to detect rotation of the encoder washer (32); and a support member (18) having an inner surface (26) of a section form of a sphere. The inner surface (26) slides in contact with the outer surface (28) of the outer ring. The support member (18) fixes the sensor member (50) on a position with respect to the encoder washer (32) where the sensor member (50) can detect the rotation of the encoder washer (32). According to the present invention, the sensor member (50) comprises a transducer (52) to wirelessly communicate with a detector (58). |
