Provided are a system and a method for testing a target software capable of reducing a time and an effort used for forming a test environment by automatically forming a test server with one execution file, and installing a test target software in the test server, and a cloud server. The method for testing a target software in a cloud server comprises the following steps: loading an execution file of a target software; analyzing environment setting information from the execution file; generating an instance of a test server based on the environment setting information; executing the target software in the instance of the test server; testing the target software through one or more test tools; and storing a test result with a snap shot.
