Provided is a centrifugal turbo compressor capable of ensuring the improved reliability of operation and compression efficiency, minimizing leakage of fluid through variable diffuser vanes and walls, remarkably reducing malfunctions of the various diffuser vanes caused by caught foreign material, and maintaining compression efficiency at a required level by controlling the angle between the variable vanes depending on the operation conditions. The centrifugal turbo compressor comprises a plurality of variable diffuser vanes disposed at regular intervals in the outer circumferential direction of an impeller in the casing to form diffuser passages therebetween and installed to be able to slide to change an area of the diffuser passage depending on a movement direction. |
