The present invention relates to an elevator door safety device which does not trigger curiosity as a structure of door is not greatly changed and is not noticeable, further a detection means is provided which is cheaply and easily applicable to a conventional elevator. The detection means detects intensively whether a finger is caught in by emitting a laser to a gap between a door and the frame of the door, excludes a cargo when the cargo is detected by a laser sensor as approached to the gap and then inconvenience in using is decrease, and further installing a reflex mirror only illuminating around the gap in an upper region of the frame of the door, interpreting only images of the reflex mirror in images of a conventional surveillance camera equipped to the elevator, and thus is capable of efficiently monitoring the door in low price without any additional surveillance camera when the elevator is operated or stopped. To this end, the present invention, in the elevator door safety device which detects whether a finger is caught by installing the laser sensor on the gap between a door and the frame of the door of the elevator, DC5V of a power supply is selectively supplied to a break magnetic switch block which operates an elevator motor from a relay and a door opening confirmation switch which operates a door motor, wherein the laser sensor is equipped to between the relay and the door opening confirmation switch and is not operated while the elevator is operated; and the laser sensor as having straightness, is characterized in detecting a variation in height of an object approaching the gap, continuously keeping the door open when the variation in height is not existed, and keeping the door being stopped when the variation is existed. |
