FIELD: measuring equipment.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to contactless aerodynamic methods of monitoring of surface tension of liquids, and can be used in chemical industry and power engineering. Method of measuring surface tension of liquid consists in forming recesses on fluid surface under action of gas jet, measurement of height of the depression, change of intensity of jet impact, measurement of height of the obtained recesses and determination of surface tension by results of two measurements of the height of the depression.EFFECT: enabling monitoring of surface tension in production conditions with high accuracy due to reduction of influence on measurement results of liquid density that is ensured by measuring two different values of the height of recess at two values of force action of gas jet.1 cl, 1 dwg |
