FIELD: transportation; physics.SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for control of material composition of loose materials in flow under conditions of variable intermediate environment. This invention consists in that references with known material composition and controlled material of unknown composition are exposed to gamma-radiation from external source, scattered gamma radiation is recorded and obtained results of scattered gamma-radiation intensity control on test material are compared with results of scattered gamma-radiation intensity controlling on references and conclusion is made on material composition of loose material of unknown composition on belt, wherein one uses several different energies of primary gamma-radiation sources. At that, first source is used for control of material composition of loose and reference material through conveyor belt, and second with energy of gamma-quanta lower then of first one, is used for control of gamma-absorbing properties of belt, expressed through its thickness d, after which composition of loose materials is determined based on obtained data.EFFECT: enabling possibility to control of coarse-crushed ore material composition at any size of conveyor.1 cl, 12 dwg |
