PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an appropriate utilization of all cordless communication devices accommodated in a main device while using normal-band communication and broadband communication together even when using a communication system with a finite number of usable slots provided in a communication channel.SOLUTION: A slot management table 14 in a main device 1 stores identification information on cordless telephone sets connected with the main device 1, and the number of use slots per cordless telephone set. A control circuit 12 updates the number of slots on the basis of notification information from a master unit of a cordless telephone set. When a cordless telephone set makes a call, the control circuit 12 determines the number of slots which the cordless telephone set making a call uses on the basis of stored data in the slot management table 14, and notifies the master unit of the cordless telephone set of this.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
