PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a cast article for pouring a molten metal into a permeable mold by a gravitational force, in order to charge the molten metal into a desired cavity part or a portion of the cavity of the permeable mold, a gas is fed from a sprue part, before a molten metal of a volume smaller than that of the whole cavity of the mold and substantially equal to a desired cavity part is poured, to fill the desired cavity part with the molten metal thereby to solidify the molten metal, whereby the molten metal necessary for the feeder head can be reduced.SOLUTION: The pressure for feeding said gas is increased for a predetermined period after the charge of a molten metal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
