PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive device capable of suppressing performance deterioration even it is made thinner.SOLUTION: A disk drive device comprises: a fixing body comprising a base having a bearing hole for fixing one end part of a fluid dynamic pressure bearing mechanism extending in an axial direction, and a coil having plural terminal wires; a rotor which is rotatably supported by the fluid dynamic pressure bearing mechanism, and having a hub on which a record disk is mounted; and a wiring board having plural connection lands to which the terminal wires of the coil are respectively connected, and extending in an X-direction extending in a normal direction from a center of the bearing hole, in a plane vertical to a rotation shaft of the rotor. The base has a table part in which an area including a part opposing the hub in the axial direction projects toward a direction opposite to the hub in the axial direction, and the table part has a pocket for storing the wiring board and being dent in the axial direction, and the pocket has wire holes which the terminal wires penetrate. The pocket has maximum width in a Y direction orthogonal to the X direction in the plane, the maximum width being smaller than diameter of the bearing hole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
