PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply unit capable of lowering a current capacity of a converter.SOLUTION: A converter 30 has a reactor and a switch element alternately connected in series to a first power supply 10 and converts voltage inputted from the first power supply 10 into voltage different depending on a switching operation of the switch element to output it to a load 60. A voltage selection section 50 selectively outputs voltage from a second power supply 20 and voltage from the converter 30 to a load 61. A control section 35 sets a switching frequency and duty of the switch element when outputting voltage from the converter 30 to the load 61 higher compared with the switching frequency and duty when outputting voltage from the converter 30 to the load 60 without outputting it to the load 61.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
