PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission belt capable of improving or ameliorating quietness.SOLUTION: A friction transmission belt 1 includes: an elongation layer 4 forming a belt back surface; a compression layer 2 provided on a single-sided surface of the elongation layer; and a core body 3 buried between the elongation layer 4 and the compression layer 2, and extending in a belt circumferential length direction. A friction transmission surface of the compression layer 4 is coated with a fiber member (for example, a knitted fabric knitted with bulky finished yarn) 5 containing at least water absorption fiber, and at least on a surface containing the inside of the fiber member, an inorganic power body 6 exists.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
