PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving body, measurement device, and measurement method capable of improving the safety by detecting a recess such as a staircase or groove.SOLUTION: A measurement device 3 is attached to a position higher than a ground point of a moving body 1 so as to scan a lower part. In order to measure the distance to a downward reflection object, the measurement device 3 uses an electromagnetic wave to scan, as a scan surface, a circular conical surface or a part of it of a virtual circular cone expanding downward from, as an apex, the vicinity of an attachment position, and measures the distance to the reflection object. Then, a safe area As, a warning area Aa, and a dangerous area Ad are set so that, as the measured distance is long, the dangerousness is determined to be high.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
