PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve space efficiency of a light-emitting region in a lighting system even when the lighting system is provided with an operation function portion.SOLUTION: A lighting system has a light-emitting unit including a light-emitting element and a translucent cover for covering the light-emitting element, and a device body including a mounting member including a long bottom plate portion and side edge portions disposed along long sides of the bottom plate portion, and side plates mounted on both ends in the longitudinal direction, of the mounting member and made of a resin material. By making the side plates with the resin material, an operation function portion can be easily mounted on the side plate in providing the lighting system with the operation function portion. Further as it is unnecessary to provide a light-emitting unit with an operation function portion, the operating function portion can be disposed in the lighting system without degrading space efficiency of a light-emitting region in the lighting system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
