PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a thermoreversible gelatinous lubrication agent composition in which the liquefaction temperature can be optionally adjusted without affecting the lubrication oil characteristic; and a method therefor.SOLUTION: Provided are: a thermoreversible gelatinous lubrication agent composition containing a liquid lubrication oil base oil, an aliphatic amide, and an aliphatic hydrocarbon alcohol; and a method for lowering a liquefaction temperature of the thermoreversible gelatinous lubrication agent composition by adding an aliphatic hydrocarbon alcohol to a thermoreversible gelatinous lubrication agent composition containing a liquid lubrication oil base oil and an aliphatic amide.SELECTED DRAWING: None
