PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an attention area by calculating a highly accurate visual saliency with a small amount of processing.SOLUTION: An image processor has an attention area detection part 116 including a space information calculation part for calculating space information of a subject that is information of an area in an image where the subject is estimated to be present, a first area setting part 502 for setting a first area in the image on the basis of the space information, a second area setting part 503 for setting a second area outside the first area, a first feature amount calculation part 504 for calculating a first feature amount of the first area, a second feature amount calculation part 505 for calculating a second feature amount that is the same kind of a feature amount as the first feature amount of the second area, and a saliency calculation part 506 for calculating visual saliency of the subject on the basis of a difference between the first feature amount and the second feature amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
