PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a wavelength conversion layer containing quantum dots.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a wavelength conversion member includes the steps of: applying a quantum dot-containing polymerizable composition on the surface of a first film 10 that is continuously conveyed to form a coating film; laminating a second film 50 that is continuously conveyed on the coating film to hold the coating film with the first film and second film; and laying any one of the first film and second film over a backup roller 62 while the coating film is held by the first film and second film, and irradiating the film with light with an ultraviolet irradiation device 64 while continuously conveying the film to polymerize and cure the coating film, and thereby forming a wavelength conversion layer (cured layer).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
