PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin processor capable of suppressing occurrence of running out of the change.SOLUTION: The coin processor comprises: coin identification means; coin distribution means; plural coin tubes; coin payout means; and a coin temporary holding mechanism. The coin processor can operate in a normal mode and a special sub tube use mode. When operating in the special sub tube use mode, the coin temporary holding mechanism can be used as coin storage means for, using coins of a specific kind as change directly, without distributing the coins of specific kind to the coin tubes, and the coin tube to which the coins of specific kind are distributed, in which the coins of the specific kind are held in the temporary holding mechanism in the normal mode, is changed into a specific sub tube for storing coins of kinds other than the specific kind.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
