PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyarylene sulfide resin composition which is excellent in a white color tone, impact resistance and molding fluidity as an exterior component and thus is useful particularly for applications for electronic/electric components such as housings of mobile terminal facilities such as a mobile personal computer, a tablet and a portable phone.SOLUTION: There is provided a polyarylene sulfide resin composition which comprises 10 to 50 pts.wt. of a white pigment (B), 20 to 40 pts.wt. of a glass fiber (C) and 0.05 to 2 pts.wt. of a metal salt of 12-hydroxy stearic acid (D), based on 100 pts.wt. of a polyarylene sulfide resin (A) in which a molded body obtained by compression-molding the polyarylene sulfide resin (A) at a melt temperature of 310°C and a pressure force of 100 kgf/cmhas a lightness L value of 70 or more and the melt viscosity of the polyarylene sulfide resin (A) is 50 to 1000 poises when measured using a Koka-type flow tester equipped with a die having a diameter of 1 mm and a length of 2 mm under conditions where the measurement temperature is 315°C and the load is 10 kg.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
