PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous ink for inkjet recording, which can increase an optical density (OD value) of a recorded matter using an aqueous ink without increasing a concentration of a colorant.SOLUTION: The aqueous ink for inkjet recording comprises a colorant and water, and further contains (A) a compound represented by formula (1) and (B) a surfactant.
