PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten clock extraction and synchronization times at the time of wavelength switching.SOLUTION: An OLT is connected with a plurality of ONUs 14 via optical fiber and uses a plurality of optical signals with different wavelengths to perform communication in at least one direction of uplink and downlink directions. Each ONU comprises: an optical transmission/reception unit 50 that receives a control signal including information on a wavelength allocated to its ONU by the OLT, and communicates with the OLT using an optical signal at the wavelength on the basis of the received control signal; a clock extraction unit 52 that detects the optical signal at the wavelength on the basis of the control signal, extracts a clock from a data signal included in the detected optical signal, and re-extracts a clock by a clock extraction method corresponding to a discontinuous signal if it is necessary to re-extract a clock; and a PON transmission processing unit 48 that generates transmission data to the OLT on the basis of the clock extracted by the clock extraction unit 52.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
