PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a "radio broadcast reception device and reception broadcast service switching method" for smoothly and speedily switching a broadcast service.SOLUTION: In the case where reception quality of a broadcast service under being received and outputted is deteriorated, voices of both the broadcast service and another broadcast service broadcasting a program of the same contents are blended and outputted in such a manner that the output voice is gradually switched to the voice of the other broadcast service. A time length to perform blending of both the voices from switching start to end is set short (a) in the case where a broadcasting standard such as DAB, DAB+ or FM broadcasting of the broadcasting service is the same before and after the switching, and set long (b) in the case where the broadcasting standards are different.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
