PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a split type contact tip for welding, capable of improving the hardness of a tip end portion and keeping a stable power supply state for a weld wire while suppressing cost such as material cost and manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a split type contact tip 1 for welding, used in arc welding for generating arc between a base material 2 and a weld wire 3, comprises: a main body section 16 attached to a welding torch 11 that guides the weld wire 3 to a position where arc is generated; and a tip end portion 17 provided detachably in the main body section 16 and formed by cold forging. The tip end portion 17 includes a weld-wire insertion hole 18 which is drilled after the cold forging and into which the weld wire 3 is inserted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
