PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing an abnormal image such as image deletion and dropout even when the conveyance path of the apparatus is short.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 comprises: a transfer roller 6; a fixation device 9 having a fixation member 15 and a pressure member 16; a resist roller 13 that is disposed upstream of the transfer roller 6 in a recording material conveyance direction J and conveys a recording material P; a loop sensor S3 that is disposed between the fixation member 15 and the transfer roller 6 and detects the amount of deflection of the recording material P; and a controller 10 that controls the drive of the fixation member 15 and the resist roller 13. The controller 10 changes the rotation speed of the fixation member 15 on the basis of the detection result of the loop sensor S3 so that the amount of deflection of the recording material P becomes a first amount of deflection.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
