PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the degree of freedom of disposition of electric power converter with alarm.SOLUTION: The electric power converter includes: an inverter circuit 12 that converts a DC electric power into an AC electric power; an alarm unit that outputs a sound when an abnormality is detected on the inverter circuit 12; a control circuit that controls the inverter circuit and the alarm unit; and a housing that stores the inverter circuit, the control circuit and the alarm unit. The electric power converter further includes a notification part which is capable of notifying the abnormality by performing a communication with the control circuit from the outside of the housing. The notification part is capable of changing or eliminating the sound volume from the alarm unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
