PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint method which is used for joining a package member of the housing, that is constituted of the ceramic material-made package member and a ceramic material-made lid member, to the lid member and in which high airtightness, high joint strength and excellent joint accuracy are achieved simultaneously.SOLUTION: The joint method comprises the steps of: forming a joining material pool on the joint surface of the package member 20 to the lid member 30; housing a predetermined amount of a joining material in the joining material pool; and heating/melting the housed joining material so that the package member 20 is joined to the lid member 30. It does not matter if a height difference is formed on the joint surface of the package member 20 to the lid member 30 so that a joint area is increased and the joint strength is made higher and furthermore a convex part and a concave part are formed on the joint surface and are engaged with each other so that alignment thereof is facilitated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
