PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy a requirement about a face gear showing a superior engagement between a face gear and a pinion even if the face gear generates its warping due to a force from the pinion in parallel with an output rotating shaft and directed downward after a rotation of the face gear is increased to reach a rated number of rotation.SOLUTION: A face gear of this invention has a plurality of gear teeth arranged in an annular shape around a rotating axis, a tooth thickness of the gear tooth at a part of outside in a radial direction of an annular shape and a full tooth height ranging from a tooth bottom to a tooth top are set to be larger than a tooth thickness of the gear tooth at the inner part in a radial direction and the full tooth height.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
