PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical processing device to be optically coupled to an optical integrated circuit processing a plurality of polarized light.SOLUTION: An optical processing device 21 comprises: an optical integrated circuit 19 that includes an optical couper 19a and processes polarized light; a flexible holding body 27 that maintains an array of single mode fiber optics (SMF); a first optical connector 29 that provides an optical coupling between an external optical waveguide component 33 including a polarized light surface holding fiber and the SMF; an optical wiring component 13 that includes a second optical connector 31 providing an optical coupling between the optical coupler 19a and the SMF; a support base 15 that supports the first optical connector 29 so as to allow the first optical connector 29 to be optically coupled to the polarized light surface holding fiber; and a support component 17 that supports the optical wiring component 13 in such a way that the SMF extends along a first virtual surface from the first optical connector 29 on the support base 15, and the SMF extends from the second optical connector 31 along a second virtual surface inclining with respect to the first virtual surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
