PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for producing a crosslinked polyolefin foam capable of obtaining a foam of a high magnification ratio.SOLUTION: A method for producing a crosslinked polyolefin foam which includes mixing a foaming agent and a crosslinking agent with a polyolefin-based resin to obtain a foamable resin composition, filling a closed mold with the composition and heating the closed mold under pressure, partially decomposing the foaming agent and the crosslinking agent and then decompressing the closed mold to obtain an intermediate foam, then heating the intermediate foam under ordinary pressure, decomposing the remaining foaming agent and crosslinking agent, and foaming the composition includes: a low oxygen foaming step of foaming the intermediate foam under low oxygen atmosphere.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
