PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective clothing material excellent in solvent-repellent property, and usable even under a special condition where noxious gas such as sarin and a toxicity liquid exist.SOLUTION: A protective clothing material is a protective clothing material which includes a layer structure of an outer cloth, a liquid-blocking layer, and a gas adsorption layer. The liquid-blocking layer is fixed as a first water- and oil-repellent, with a fluorine-containing polymer which includes a repeating unit induced from α-chloroacrylate (A) having a fluoroalkyl group indicated in formula (1), and a repeating unit induced from a non-fluorine monomer (B) not having a fluoroalkyl group and having a hydrocarbon group with a carbon number 6 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
