MINIATURE SAME-WAVELENGTH SINGLE-CORE BIDIRECTIONAL OPTICAL TRANSCEIVING MODULE

摘要

A same-wavelength single-core bidirectional optical transceiving module, the module employing a sub-wavelength grating (708) and a Faraday rotator (707), reusing a same element (602) for polarization division multiplexing and de-multiplexing, and transmitting and receiving an optical signal in a limited space. The module has fewer optical elements, and is of a compact structure and low cost, thus satisfying the need of modern optical communication systems for a miniaturized, integrated and large-capacity optical transceiving module.
