The present invention relates to an annular cooling channel cover (30, 130) for a piston (10) of an internal combustion engine, said cover consisting of an elastic material and having opposing end faces (33, 34; 133, 134; 135, 136). At least two opposing end regions (43, 44; 143, 144; 145, 146) form a butt gap (37; 137, 138) and at least one supply element (50) for cooling oil, said element having an inlet region (51) and an outlet region (52), is housed in an opening (41; 141, 142) provided in the cooling channel cover (30, 130) and is held on the cooling channel cover (30, 130) by a clip-on detent connection. According to the invention: an opening (41; 141, 142) for housing at least one supply element (50) is provided in one end region (44; 144, 145) lying adjacent to a butt gap (37; 137, 138); the at least one supply element (50) has two plate springs (54, 55) in its inlet region (51), said springs extending radially outward in the peripheral direction of the cooling channel cover (30, 130), and two detent elements (56, 57) in its outlet region (52), said elements being radially elastic in the peripheral direction of the cooling channel cover (30, 130); the two detent elements (56, 57) lie on one end face (33; 133, 135) of the cooling channel cover (30, 130) and the two plate springs (54, 55) lie on the opposing end face (34; 134, 136) of the cooling channel cover such that one plate spring (54) covers the adjacent butt gap (37; 137, 138) and a sealing element (61) arranged on the plate spring (54) engages in the butt gap (37; 137, 138) and seals said gap. The present invention further relates to a piston (10) comprising a cooling channel cover of this type. |
