A progressive processing method having: a transfer step wherein a band-shaped sheet is transferred to a press machine; a pressing step wherein the band-shaped sheet is subjected to a pressing process in the press machine; and a joining step wherein a tape is attached between the reverse-feed end of the band-shaped sheet and the feed end of a new band-shaped sheet, thereby joining the new band-shaped sheet to the band-shaped sheet.
