Embodiments of the present invention provide an RNC, a base station, and a radio link reconfiguration method, which are used in a scenario in which a user only has an auxiliary carrier link in a first base station and the user falls back from DC-HSUPA to SC-HSUPA. The RNC comprises a sending unit and a receiving unit. The sending unit is used for sending an instruction message to the first base station, the instruction message being used for instructing the first base station to delete an auxiliary carrier link between the user and the first base station and delete transmission resource information of the user. The receiving unit is used for receiving a reply message sent by the first base station. In this way, in the embodiments of the present invention, a DC-HSUPA user supports an independent activation set; when the user only has an auxiliary carrier link in the first base station and the user falls back from DC-HSUPA to SC-HSUPA, the RNC sends an instruction message to the first base station to instruct the first base station to delete the auxiliary carrier link of the user and transmission information of the user. In this manner, a transmission resource at the base station that only has an auxiliary carrier link can be released in time, thereby improving the resource utilization rate. |
