Novelty: a refractive intraocular lens and artificial iris with cornea support system is disclosed. Constitution: the optical body (4) bearing, in some cases, the artificial iris (5) and the retaining system composed of one or two intra-stratum supporting rings (1) according to whether said system is destined or not for the simultaneous intraocular lens introduction and cornea plastic surgery intervention. In case of plastic cornea surgery operation, the lens-retaining system replaces, equally, the threads used for the support of the intraocular lens on the iris and the ordinary threads of the implant suture on the cornea of the patient. The distance of the intraocular lens from the endothelium and the focus on the optical body as well are determined to a nicety in the three-dimensional space before the surgical operation. Advantages: inter alia, the support mode via 4-12 fastening means extending to the front chamber (2) makes the invention be unique either as an intraocular lens or as a intraocular-artificial iris system which can be particularly applicable to the cornea plastic surgery. |
